Independent Study Unit

• Students will display their learning about difference, themselves, their interaction in the world, and the strategies for learning that they have implemented.

• This unit provides students with the opportunity to research a famous figure that has been challenged with a Learning Disability in their life. Through this research, students make an action plan for their life.

• Students will finalize their independent project demonstrating their application of learning strategies and their growth in learning

• Students will have the opportunity to reflect on the course and its value.
