Prototype Problem Solving

Students are provided with the Design Lab template and a task (ex. to design a better bathtub—one for more enjoyment, efficiency, and comfort). In their groups they will be provided with 2 minutes per stage to solve their problem and present their prototype to the class. 

 

Locker Management: Inquiry

1. What do these pictures depict?

 

2. At what times in the year has your locker looked like each of these lockers?

 

3. How would you describe these lockers? Why?

 

4. What makes these lockers different from each other? What makes them similar?

 

5. Which locker is best? Why?

 

6. What are the challenges to maintaining a clean and organized locker?

 

 

 

Field Trip

We will be travelling to each of your lockers to examine their organization. However, we need to brainstorm elements that would make them effectively organized. Once we have these requirements to can assess each of your lockers using these criteria.
