Digital Vocation Board--Assignment

Task Requirements

For this assignment you are expected to create a “Digital Vocation Board” which is simply a digital display of your investigation into your own future vocation. This Digital Vocation Board will include the following sections:

 

Who Are You Really?

  1. Personality

  2. Learning style

  3. Gifts & Talents

  4. Strengths & Weaknesses

What Makes You Come Alive?

  1. Interests in High School (subject focused)
  2. Interests beyond High School (extra-curricular focus)
  3. Interests in University

  • 2 Programs that fit who you are

  • How they fit who you are

  • A “Day in the Life” of these vocations

  • Grade 12 Course requirements for these courses

Reflection on your Experiences through this Journey

  1. What have you learned about yourself, your life, and your future through this vocation journey?

 

Process

  1. Work through the Brainstorming Questions for each section—these will help you gather the information that you will place on your Digital Vocation Board

  2. Gather images/videos or create images/videos that you will be including on your vision board

  3. Plan your Digital Vocation Board—Remember that you are to be creative (you can use Prezi, Padlet, Timetoast, Thinglink, or any other digital application that you feel comfortable with)

  4. Create your Digital Vocation Board

  5. Present your Digital Vocation Board to the class.
